Okay will I didn't weigh in yet. I was supposed to do it yesterday but when I got to the gym I couldn't find a employee to do it. So I worked out for 2 hours and was heading out and couldn't find someone yet again. Don't know where any of them were I guess hiding. My original instructor wasn't working and I can always find her. So tomorrow when I go workout I will weigh in.

An update with my appointments for my surgery.

Friday I went to in for my psychological eval and dietitian appt. I won't say much about the psychological due to its personal but I will say I have to do a psychological test which is 500 plus questions but that's for the insurance. I have to call tomorrow to schedule that. Then the dietitian appt went really well. She was amazed how well I already eat and didn't have anything bad to say of what I've been eating. She told me to just keep on eating and doing what I am and I will get to my surgery goal weight in no time. She did give me papers to look over for the next 2 dietary classes I have scheduled. She should me what size portions I eat now compared to after the surgery. I've gotta say is its a huge difference. Now I understand why getting protein is very important and taking a multi vitamin.
She give me a pre-operative check list to start working on certain things so I'm used to them after the surgery. Which are decrease my coffee intake to 8-12 oz (going to be hard), take small bites of food (about the size of my pinkie nail), practice sipping my water (no chugging or gulping) once again will be hard, practice no liquids 30 min before, during and 30 mins after each meal. I'm going to start working on these tomorrow. Oh the other thing is that I'm very low in vitamin D. So she prescribed me 50,000 IU to take once a week for 8 weeks and then just told me to buy some vitamin D and take that daily after the 8 weeks. I knew I was probably going to be low I'm not one that likes the sun. But now that I have 3 dogs and as I shed my weight it will be easier for me to stay in the sun. Being heavy with all that fat makes you hot quick.

She also did tell me that at my 3rd appt with the surgeon which is on June 5th is that I need to be at the 309 pounds (which I knew) but said that if I'm at that weight my surgery will be in July. She said it takes about a week for them to get the paper work together and sent off to the insurance company. Once that's done and sent off they will call me to set up another appt for the pre-operative liquid diet class. Then 2 weeks after that I will have my surgery. I'm super excited and that appt just made me way more motivated then I have been. Which I've always been motivated but this just pushes me more and is exciting!!

Oh and a few more things... I've been off my advair for 2 weeks now! I have my rescue inhaler but I've only used that once. Working out and eating healthy is helping a lot with my asthma. It's so nice not being out of breath all the time. I have gotten one more refill of my pain medicine for my back but I told my doctor that I think this will be my final refill for it. As I workout more and more in the pool I can tell the difference with my back. Its amazing how much things change as you eat healthy and exercise. I just wish it didn't take me 10 plus years to realize this. But as everyone has said you are the only one that can change yourself. Someone telling you and pushing you won't help. You have to want it for yourself and when you come to realize that then you will succeed.

For once in my life I'm finally taking the advise from my sister, mom and friends to take care of me. I really, really can't wait until I'm in the 200's then the 100's. I will be happy at 160 that to me is healthy. I do have one last thing and that is I'm VERY THANKFUL to have an awesome future mother in law even though we're not engaged yet I still see her as my mother in law. Anyway if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be getting this surgery. She is going to cover what we can't for the surgery. Once I'm able to get back to working I will be paying her back for everything. She is so amazing and so is my boyfriend for supporting my decision and being there for me. I'm very blessed to have them in my life and thank God every day for them and the life I have. I'm the happiest I've ever been!

Getting healthy and fit is the next chapter in my life and for once its a good chapter. GO ME!!!

I can do these things I need to work on from the dietitian and I will succeed!! Its also so amazing the kind of support I have at this water aerobics class I go to 3 days a week. Everyone there is nice and each of them care for one another. It's like my workout family. :)

Hope everyone has had an amazing weekend and have a great week! I will weigh in tomorrow and hopefully I'm at my goal weight of 329 I think I set it at that. Fingers crossed.
