Well, I don't know why I had a Hardee's burger for lunch...can't remember the last time...I know, I know, one's resolve is weak when they are hungry and bad choices are easily made. I don't really like meat and usually choose fish if I am not eating vegetarian. At least I went with the low-carb burger instead of one of those other 960 calorie crazy burgers.

I don't see the Fiber in the RDI list....Can I find this somewhere and I am just missing it?

OMG! I haven't tracked my actual food consumption for a long time and I am shocked to see HOW MANY CARBS AND FAT I have eaten and it's only 2:30 p.m.!! I usually have lemon water first thing in the a.m. and about an hour later coffee with cream, then a couple hours later a protein drink. About four hours later, lunch.
Then I teach another class from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
If I am careful the rest of the day, I will be okay. It will be the time between 9 p.m. and going to bed that will be the test. I always want something when I get home around 9:30 p.m.
I can only take a little slice in knowing I am not looking at 'net carbs' since I don't see the fiber which is important to the equation.
I am trying to get hubs on board. He has Type 1 diabetes and it would be so beneficial to him to track his food but I haven't been able to get him to do it. I showed him this site and I hope he will try it. It takes a few minutes when you first start if you have to enter food info, but if you find food that is already entered it really speeds up the food diary chore--which is so important.
Wish me luck!

It is 50 minutes into a new day. Cold and rainy, traveling visiting family, illness, you name it and the excuse has presented itself. Today no time for breakfast, lunch was salad ( spring greens, spinach, edamame, sunflower seeds, broccoli, tomatoes and a little pasta, grilled salmon, & steamed broccoli, later skinny mocha grande from Starbucks, later vegetable soup, some pimento cheese and crackers, 3 pcs of chocolate candy.
Weigh-in:
162.0 lb
lost so far:
10.0 lb
still to go:
22.0 lb
Diet followed reasonably well
