Life happened. Bad news about a loved one and I tried to eat my pain. HOWEVER it's not the end of the world and I'm back on the wagon. This is what it's about long-term. So for the past 2 weeks I've been at 150-154# which is 2-6# over my maintenence range of 146-148. Not the end of the world but a wakeup call to keep on top of things so that I can continue to maintain a healhy weight.
All this said,, I'm still not at my goal weight of 125-130. Next week I will begin anew with my final weightloss phase. I am also going to be getting my annual physical next week - I wonder if the doc will say anything about my weightloss so far?!

Still in maintenance - frankly I'm waiting another two weeks before going headlong back into my WL plan.
I just cant stand the madness at the gym this time of year and I'm interested in maintaining now in order to create a habit of maintaining my weight for the rest of my life once at a healthy weight
for this week snow clearing is my gym - that and walking our 80# beast of a dog (she's a friendly beast)

Whahoo! Maintained my weight through the holidays! I'm at the top of my 3# range but I'm within it. If I were not, I would go on a VLCD (very low cal diet) for a week and bounce back down into range.
Happy New Year 2015

still in my maintenance period. What does that mean exactly? I've re-introduced some fav foods one at a time to see what influences my weight as well as my wellbeing.
Wheat - how I love thee but you make me feel sluggish and bloated. will I give up on you? no, but we will be seeing less of each other. You dont make me feel very good and in some sick way, the more I eat of you the more I want you and the less well I feel. It's just not healthy to hang around you much.
Corn - fresh, as a dried meal - Wow. I'm now a midwesterner that doesnt eat corn. You're just nutritionally empty despite your good looks and lovely scent. I gain weight when I eat you and I'm highly suspect of your GMO status. I dont like how Big Farming and the industrial complex have shoved your every form into nearly everthing they sell. You've become an industrial by-product and though I miss the good ole' days, I'm breaking it off. Goodbye. Same with most cheeses and dairy. I have about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of nonfat milk wit my coffee. I drink 2 cups & i start the day with a cup of hot lemon water to get my system going. If I need a hot drink I have an herbal tea - no prob as I like them generally speaking. I dont drink sodas or fruit juices unless I've pressed them myself - just then!
So I've made it half way through the holidays and a 10 day trip to the tropics while staying within my 4# range. Good maintenance. I must say I need to keep an eye on sugar. Now that I'm eating it in small quantities, I crave it.
In a few weeks I will be back into a weightloss phase. My goal is to be healthy and my lifelong 'normal' weightrange has been 120 - 125# on my medium 5' frame.

Still in maintenance and within my 4# weight range. Happy upcoming Thanksgiving to us - A very healthy approach will be taken. anything rich? 3 bite rule 1st - savor Oh Yeah baby it's great. 2nd - Mmmmm 3rd - notice that the impact of the first bite is over & stop. Move on to something better - by better I mean healthier, more flavorful etc
