Wife and Mom. 5 children. Started the low glycemic high protein diet because it's apparently good for us *ahem* "middle-aged" women. Very sad not to get my nightly glass of wine anymore but it's packing on the pounds!! Goals of 40% protein, 25% fats, and 35% low glycemic carbs but it's very hard to keep up with that so I'm trying my best and having a goal of 1200 calories a day...If I hit 1500 I'm still happy with myself...there's no telling how many I've been having. Haven't counted calories in a hundred years!!
