I weigh in every 2 weeks on Monday. That way I am not obsessing about my weight every day. I know that I am sticking to my eating plan and incorporating exercise, so I know when I step on the scale this coming Monday I will have lost something. I wouldn't have wanted to weigh in this week because I started my cycle yesterday, so I know the scale would probably not be kind to me. I am pre-menopausal, so I am irregular to say the least.

I don't like going out to eat or eating over somebody's house. When this happens my stress level goes through the roof. All I can thing about before going is "What will I eat?" If I am invited to someones house, I feel like it would be rude for me to ask them what they will be serving. If I go out to eat, unless I pick the place, it is not a pleasant experience for me. My first thought is always salad, grilled/broiled, or low fat soup. If I know where we are going before we go, I will look online and see if they have a menu with nutritional information. There is just so much thought I have to put into what I am going to eat, resulting in that is all I can think about until I know what is on the menu. We have 2 dinner invitations coming up - 1 is tonight and the other is tomorrow after church. The first is at a restaurant, but I don't know where. The one tomorrow is over someones house. I say all this to say that I am determined to get my food addiction under control and lose this excess weight. Some may think that I am obsessed, and I have to say at this point that I AM OBSESSED!!!
