No gain, no loss. Was an "off" week for me. Busy at work, as usual. Getting ready for boss to go on vacation in July so that just means more late nights until then - then I'm on kinda vacation for a month!!. I really need to think about working out earlier before work, but it's so hard to get up and go in the mornings when I get home so late and then to bed late the night before. An excuse, I know, so I need to think on this and what I'm gonna do about it. I did well over the weekend and got a lot of exercise in. On Monday, my sister was traveling thru my town so I got the evening off and had dinner with her before she went further south. So, no exercise Monday. However, she's started weight watchers so we both did well with our food choices (shared a meal). On Tuesday, worked til 10 pm and came home starving. Ate two bagels for dinner (one with cream cheese and one with peanut butter - was craving carbs apparently). Wednesday drove to my moms after work (she lives an hour away) to spent the night with her. She had just had carpal tunnel surgery the day before. So, again, no exercise as we just visited together. Her surgery was on her right hand so we were trying to think of what she could eat easily (and quickly since I didn't come with a prepared meal). She suggested pizza but I nixed that idea as I knew I wouldn't stop at just the 1-2 slices if we'd ordered the whole pie. So, we did the next most logical (not) thing and I grabbed a burger and fries from In-and-Out. Yummmmmm. Finally, last night, I was off work early enough that I went to the gym and spent an hour and 15 mins there. I think that's what must've kept me from gaining from the burger and fries. So, the no loss/no gain was okay with me. I'm very hopeful that next week I'll lose big (as last week was only 1 lb loss) and maybe, just maybe, I'll be in Onederland! I think I'll be monitoring my weight all week just to keep myself on track. We have BBQ scheduled tomorrow with our bff's, but I'm confident that will go well since baldwin5 and I will keep each other on track. Hope everyone has a great week! Thanks again for "listening..."

Locked out of website so doing this via FS app. First time logging here so hope it takes (had written paragraph in journal, hit save, and poof - kicked out of site!). Well, down another lb! 1.5 til my half way point and 3.4 til onederland! Happy Friday the 13th!

Taking Maggie (kitty) back to the vet today for a checkup after her accident. I think they're supposed to take the drain out of her leg. Stitches will remain for probably another week. I can tell she's feeling better, but i think she has a hard time sitting with the drain sticking out of her hind leg. I think it may have moved a bit too (she won't wear the cone on her head so I may get lectured by the vet) and I've seen her licking the area. I stop her when I'm around, but she obviously does it when I'm at work. Hopefully this won't affect the stitches. I've put the cone back on at least 6 times and she thrashes about and manages to get it off each time. I'm then worried she'll hurt herself banging into the walls more than it's worth or she will strangle herself on the tie to the cone while I'm gone. So, I've given up on this and will take the lecture.
I've used all this as an excuse all week not to workout. Well, that and work hours. On Monday I was off on time but came home right away to check on Maggie. On tuesday night I worked til 10 pm so valid excuse. Then last night was getting off at 7 pm so went ahead and decided to head to gym. Went to change, only to find out that I had two T-shirts but no bottoms! Uh, don't think the people behind me at the gym would appreciate that site. So, put work clothes back on and went home. I could've exercised on stationary bike ... But didn't. Excuses, I know. So, tonight is the night. No more excuses. In the meantime, scale has not moved an ounce since last weigh in. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's weigh in that I'm down at least a little.
Busy day at work - big court case - so should be an interesting day!

Late night at work, as expected. Too tired to make dinner so indulged in two servings of Cap'n Crunch cereal with 1% milk for dinner. Lots of carbs but still under RDI today. Will get to "enjoy" the torn up roof of my mouth the next couple of days. 😁😝
