Finally, a good drop!! My private training sessions have been kicking my butt! The kettlebell and TRX are truly the hardest workout I've ever done - my trainer is next to me for 45 mins straight and there's no stopping between each art except to get a drink of eater and wipe off the buckets of sweat. I would highly recommend both. I can already tell my arms are toning up. It's working the back of my legs and butt, as well as my abs. The cardio is what I didn't realize was so intense. I've come home shaking each time as every muscle in my body got a workout. This is a different gym than I normally go to and a bit on the pricey side, but I've only signed up for a certain number of lessons. After the privates, I hope to join their classes here and there (if I can afford it) as they do seem more focused than my regular gym and are teaching proper techniques. I can't believe how many areas of your body you can work out with these two pieces of equipment.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!

Good week. Going slow but steady. Have added more exercise and am changing it up. Still need to focus on eating a more balanced diet. Foods I'm eating are okay, but I need to add leaner meats and more veggies - and I've neglected my food journal this week.

BFF, baldwin5, and I are hiking China Peak tomorrow! So excited! This is a ski resort area where we will ride the chair lift up to 7,000 feet. My hubby and his friends will be playing a disc golf course on the mountain - course takes you up and down mountain. BFF and I are "spotters" so we watch where the discs land and help retrieving them (they fly a long way and sometimes way off course). The "holes" are spread across the mountain and we are hiking up, down, across... So, not just a trek downhill. I went last year and it took us over 6 hours to get down the mountain. It will be interesting to see how I do physically this year compared to last year. Gonna be packing a healthy lunch and several water bottles which should add to the weight of my backpack for a more strenuous hike (last year hubby carried it all). So, I'm excited to see how we do - the feeling after is great!

Day 3 of kettlebell and TRX lessons. Back to feeling normal - arms can straighten. Trainer told me to stretch and drink lots of fluids. Said it's not unusual and still happens to her when she changes her routine. We listened to my body today and had a good workout.

At work today, a coworker's wife baked me a loaf of banana nut chocolate chip bread. Omg - smelled like heaven. All I could think of was that in the last I would've taken it home and eaten it by myself ( or maybe hubby would've had one slice). Don't think it would've taken long - 2 days? Anyway, knowing hubby working out of town all week, it would not be good to take home as I'm alone - not good with a loaf of this yumminess! Normally would take to work for coworkers to eat. Npbut since it was given to me by a coworker, I was afraid that would be rude. So, I picked a select few on opposite side of building from the coworker who gave to me and shared. I had a sliver of a piece just to satisfy. Was perfect. There's a little left, but it should be gone tomorrow (I left it at work).

No gym tomorrow night as our form has a suite reserved at the ballpark. Will need to be sure to eat healthy and stay full thru the day so I don't overeat while at the game. This is getting a bit easier as time goes by!
