I went totally wild yesterday with my food. Went out for lunch with friends and ate Mexican food like there was no tomorrow. I have taken on the role of caregiver to a lifetime friend and finally understand stress eating. Not using this as an excuse, but finally, I have an understanding. We are in year two of her illness. I do have a plan in place to relieve some of the stress and implementing that plan has to be a top priority. Maybe I need a FS buddy to check-in on me and help me stay within my limits. If there are any takers I would appreciate your assistance.

Stayed on target mostly except for some wonderful Southern BBQ. I'm sure it was filled with sugar because it was much too good not to have been. I have decided that "Southern" when related to food is code for grease and sugar. Keep it honest and have a great weekend!

Had liver and onions, one small scoop of mashed pots and sliced tomatoes for lunch. Soooooooooo good! Not only was it good for me it kept me on my low carb eating plan. My main meal today will be a chef salad with grilled chicken, not processed meats, with Ranch on the side. Since I eat out every day, I find I need and must know what I'm ordering before I get to the eatery. Keeps me on track.
