Lucybell33's Journal, 11 February 2008

A smidgen up over the weekend, but I'm not too worried. It's probably just a bit of water retention from the weekend wine, so it'll most likely be off again by tomorrow. It kept flicking down this morning, so I got 160.5, 160.0 and then 160.5, which by my strict rules of weigh-in conduct means I have to take the 160.5!

The main thing is that I've hit my next weight loss goal, having now lost just over 3.5 stone!! I've booked in my beauty treat - Detoxifying Mud Therapy - for the afternoon of Valentine's, so I'll be slimmed down as much as possible for our romantic evening in!

My BMI is down another point to 28, so only three more points to go to getting back to that healthy weight range!

I've already done a cardio DVD session today and this week's Born to be Wild Team Challenge has got me all fired up to dust off my Pilates DVDs and give them a try. I'll report in on the first in due course!

For those of you with a lot to lose like I was, who are at the beginning of your journey right now, I just want to tell you how worthwhile sticking with it is. It's been a seven month journey for me so far, with a few bumps along the way, but I am feeling absolutely fantastic, and can't wait to reach my final goal!

I had to do a really scary presentation at work on Friday to a couple of really important clients, and in front of a number of my colleagues. Seven months ago I'd have just about died at the thought of having to stand up in front of all those people - I would have just been paranoid that all they'd have been thinking about was how fat I was. Although I'm still technically overweight, I feel so much more "normal", and just didn't worry about it. The presentation went down really well - the clients were happy with my numbers, which was a great relief!

Hope everyone has a fantastic week. The sun is shining here in Southampton, and is set to stay that way for a couple of days - yay!!
