UGH-Stress
Good News-moved the business and everything is working! It was Oscar weekend so I was busy in addition to move and spent Sunday morning loading and unloading the truck with a tremendous hangover. Watched the Oscars-SO VERY BORING. However, was happy that The Artist and Meryl won. Worked on both and it makes a huge difference to my attitude when I work on good films versus bad. One can surmise why I have mostly a bad attitude.
Bad News-Struggling to get paid. I hate having to stalk clients for money. I ate 2 choc chip cookies last night right before bed. It's been a long time since I gave in to emotional eating. I was so mad at myself! And of course that just perpetuates the behaviour. So this morning I forgave myself and took a long walk and had greek yogurt and a pinch of granola.
SU turns 60 yrs young on Saturday. Surprising him with a trip to Palm Springs to check out midcentury modern architecture and staying in a house from that period. I hope it's as nice as it looks online. We will also hike in Indian Canyons. I hope that will help hold my weight. I need to maintain through the weekend and then get real about losing the 5 pounds that I gained at Christmas. Ay yi yi!

Your weekend sounds like a dream!!! That five pounds will drop off- i think it's the stress that made it stick. Despite the cookies...you sound good : )

Dens...since you asked,... I feel so beyond fabulous I am ready to throw a hysterectomy party;, except that might be in poor taste. The tampon companies will be reporting significantly lower profits in 2013- lol

Sorry I missed the party! LOL Sounds fab, I'm waiting for a friend of mine to have that divorce party too, us girls can turn anything into a good time! Densible, congrats that is wonderful to see your hard work pay off! I'll have to watch it! Sorry I wasn't on sooner, I would have told you to have breakfast at a certain cafe in Palm Springs. I did go to trader Joes a couple weeks ago and LOADED up thanks a whole bunch!!

Funny. I printed out your Trader Joe's list and ran across it the other day. Of course I have not been to Trader Joe's yet and if it happens to find its way into my bag so I could refer to it that would be a major miracle!! LOL!! Your trip to Palm Springs sounds lovely. Happy birthday to your SU!! Glad you survived the Oscars and hope the stress subsides soon (though given your line of work I doubt that will happen!!). I've missed you too.
