logging a small loss and grateful for it.. something really awful happened last night. or awful to me lol. I woke up at like 2 am and wanted to eat a marshmallow or a cookie.. i was awake but like on auto pilot. it was weird. anyway I woke up and threw that crap in the trash but i was like zombie after brains or something.wonky..i used to always wake up and eat like that in the past so its not new to me but its been a long time.. I officially have no more crap in the house. I had left that there for the guys but to bad now. I cant be trusted.
Today is my official restart day but Ive been at it and made it thru 2 days with out effing it up. One day at a time. I pulled a plan from BB.com to start at the gym. Ive grown comfortable and now its time to push myself and take it to the next level. My son's wedding is in April so I have a new motivation to lose. Happy Monday guys and gals, let take the week by the horns!! Attack!!

Ooooohhhh a wedding. That's always a good one - to fit into a "mother of the groom" dress. Nice. My advice? Pick out a dress 2 sizes too small and fight like hell to blast off 20-25 pounds to fit into it. That's a real deadline. Love it!!!

You are not the only one to wake up in the middle of the night craving junk food. Congrats on the wedding news and wishing you all the best on the restart!

Glad you got rid of the crap. It's easier to resist if it's not around. Have fun working out and good luck with your plan.

Chips are my go-to during the night. You'd think I'd go for something that wasn't noisy and wouldn't wake up the dog.

That's my girl! You rock! I keep a few fat bombs in the freezer for those times when I wake up and think I have to have something!

I was (knock on wood) a huge night eater. 3 in the morning, stumble to the kitchen and load, next morning find crumbs, honey drips. I have a sister, same thing. I didnt' do anything in particular to end it, it just sort of faded away after we moved. maybe the kitchen became too far away lol

I quit thinking of junk food as appetizing and put it in the same category as a lot of other things I wouldn't consider putting in my mouth. I went to town with my wife and daughter today and we walked down the candy aisle in Target and I got about as excited as if I had walked down the pet food aisle at Petsmart.

I find that old habits/patterns can come back surprisingly easy, especially as they relate to emotional or compulsive eating. Good for you not giving in to it.
