Annabelle3117's Journal, 10 July 2014

There it is, hello 170's!! Weighed in a day early, but I just had to share :)

Good morning everyone! This whole work/school/fitness thing is exhausting! I know I will adjust, but right now I am one tuckered out lady. Up and heading to work for a half day today. Classes tonight, then working all day tomorrow. Another parade and baseball game Saturday morning and my sister is coming to stay with me Saturday night for a few nights so my mom can go down to SC to visit her brother. Looks like I'll never sleep past 5 again lol. It's overrated anyway though, right?! Humor me

As you can see by my awesome weigh in I have worked very hard the last couple weeks. My thighs are still killing me from all the squatting with those darn kettle bells. If sore is the new sexy, Brent, then watch out! lol. I'm so excited to have broken out of the 80's. I don't know why it seems like it is so hard to jump from one decade of numbers to the next, but it does. Every pound is hard fought at this point in my weight loss game, that's why I need to start emphasizing strength training more and more. Lean muscle mass, higher metabolism, and all of those other words we hear so often.

I got 3.8 miles in yesterday via walking. It was all I could muster up the energy to do since I was sooo stinkin sore. I walked 3.2 miles with the kiddos in the morning, then on my lunch break in school I squeezed in another half mile. Total miles is now 14.5. I should be around 25 if I want to get my 75 in, so I'm a bit behind. Hoping to get caught up over the weekend, or start aiming for three miles a day. I'll figure it out.

Well other than a kick ass weigh in and a busy schedule I don't have all that much to report. I'm trying to increase my calories a bit, I don't want to go so low. I used peanut butter yesterday to get a little more fat. It's hard to add calories without adding carbs.

Long day of work and homework ahead of me. I'll catch up with you all later :) Have a wonderful day!!!

Congradulations! Way to go keep up the good work and you will reach your goal in no time. Speaking of time don't feel bad I am up at 4 am every morning riding stationary bike and Tae Bo workout. I found that working out in the am is better for my schedule. I use to walk 2 miles during lunch but a lot rain lately in Florida.

Great! Awesome! Woooo-whooo! (And yes, sleeping late is overrated...but I think I only say that because I don't get to sleep late anymore either.)

I am so happy for you! Your doing awesome. The working out thing takes some getting used to. It's kinda fun to wake up in the morning and see what hurts from the day before. haha I think your doing the right thing by adding more calories. I was really suprised by how many I was able to add since I started working out. For me, I added almost 500 calories per day and will still loose weight if I dont eat all my calories. Keep at it! Those squats will do wonders for you!

Wooooh!!! Green!!! CONGRATS! Hope you get used to your busy schedule soon! You have a lot going on - even on weekends! If it makes you feel better, I am WAY further behind on 75 miles, hahah! I think you're on the right track with increasing calories as you strength train. Thanks for another inspiring journal!
