Lost so far: 10.2 lb

Current Weight
221.8 lb
Performance: losing 4.2 lb a week

Goal Weight
175.0 lb
Still to go: 46.8 lb
I'm a mother of 3 kids and the two youngest ones were 10 lbs each. So I have had a lot of weight each time. I'm hoping to be almost to my goal weight by June 2020. I succeeded after having my boy by joining fatsecret 10 years ago to get down to a happy 165 lbs.

My hubby and I started in June 2019, to challenge each other for a year long journey to being fit with no excuses. We are walking every day (that is humanly possible and most are) often with our 2 younger kids for no less than 15 minutes but usually 25. We are doing 30 of something ever day too (squats, push ups, must be 30 and we do it together). 3 weeks in we only missed 2 days of walking.
I have high blood pressure and my hubby is boarder line. We quit smoking and are eating healthier.

My goal weight now is 160 lbs. I would still be considered heavy by a doctor but I wouldn't be likely to blow away in the wind, that would be okay with me.

how do u get past the cravings??
I completely agree with allowing yourself the carving you really want. Just try to be sure its not a large amount and never feel guilty about it as this can sometimes make you want to binge from feeling bad. You work hard otherwise and I try to make it a regular thing too! Once a week I eat what ever I want for one meal and savor it. You carve because you might need something in the food you want. Once a week won't hurt.

Slimquick vitamins
anyone try Slimquick supplements for women? they are like vitamins that you take a couple times a day for a few weeks. I have been using them and they help keep me going and they really curb cravings and hunger but I'm having a heck of a time remembering to take them. Anyone try these?

Winter and diet hardship
It is so much harder to stick to healthier foods when the temp. goes down. I just want to go nuts with comfort food and say, 'I don't need those veggies'. Oh, and the goodies at this time of year! So not fair with the thousands of varieties of chocolates! I did a big bad and got sugar laden fudge yesterday! but I'm really trying to control myself and only have a piece here and there and there and there... but not all in a day! I want it to last so that I can truly enjoy it but when it comes to the cookies! I can't say I'll do so well. Rolling Eyes

"Doctor's Diet??"
Try soup, homemade soups can be full of things like hamburger and veggies!
I make one that I brown hamburger then use broth and copped veg.(celery, carrots, etc. and canned tomatoes (stewed,) garlic, pepper, what ever tastes good. And stir fry is great if you use a sauce. I use terriaki(sp) it's lowest calories, but there's other one you can get that come bottled and you just add them when you are cooking.
The meal plan sounds good and the only thing I wouldn't like is oatmeal, but bran I think I could handle with cinnamon. Yogurts you can get very low calorie ones mine is only 45 cal. and the other I like is 35 cal. Hey, at lease you get chocolate! I think that is one thing I would really like to have put as a staple in my diet.
