Simavision's Journal, 04 February 2009

GOOD MORNING to all of my lovely, wonderful, BEAUTIFUL, health-minded Fat Secret Peoples!

So I let my sadness get to me yesterday. I need to continue with my life. I have some big goals this month and if I keep letting myself slide they will not happen :( Time to pick myself up and force my actions to dictate my thoughts not the other way around!

I do have some news. They are bringing my Teta home today. (to my parents house) They cannot keep her in ICU anymore and all parties involved thought being at home was better than in a normal hospital room. Mom said she was actually awake and aware again on Monday (she was not Sunday when I left WV) but was out of it again yesterday. What an emotional roller coaster my poor parents must be on. They will have hospice and nursing help but I do think this willbe generally easier on them, though it means fewer breaks too....

Okay okay on to brighter stuffs! I did call the Company and they put a note that I needed it by Monday so we shall see. The status still says processing ;)

Old Man Scale: My body is still all kinds of whacked. Ms. Run-to-the-toilet is still around. And I cannot eat much it seems. Mom thinks it might be some sort of flu but I have never gotten flue where I could function easily like this. At least the porcelain goddess has not been around since Saturday. I much prefer the Old man's companionship to THOSE two :) Though he seems less ornery with their company than TOM's at least ;) I just hope it does not all come crashing back when I get better. I don't think it will so long as I don't go over board, but we will have to wait and see! (I would have PREFERRED to have come by the loss more honestly BUT, I am certainly not complaining after a long two months of gaining and stalling, old eating habits and lack of movement)

Your weight chart shows that your "plane is landing" within that "flight path." You are doing fine. You are on your way. Don't get too overwhelmed by too many goals. Just take it step by step -- day by day!

My Credit Union in Dallas is right next to the Mary Kay factory. About once a year there are about a million Mary Kay women out at a big function with chartered busses and booths. Next time I see them, I will think of you! Sorry you are going through hard times right now. ((HUGS))

Keep hangin' in there, girl! Good for you not scrapping your goals in the face of emtional distress. You're doing great, and you'll be an inspiration to me as I claw back onto the wagon! Sing with me--to the tune of Rawhide--"Rollin', rollin', rollin'; keep those pounds a-goin', hot backside!"
