Sometimes we put our weight loss expectations too high and when we don't reach them, we feel bad. But two pounds is an amazing loss. That doesn't include the inches you may have lost too. I knew someone who didn't see the scale go down for a while, but went down in sizes from fat loss and exercise. Just keep going and be proud of how great your doing. Every pound counts!

Because you're nuts? LOL - just kidding. Hey, if it's your goal to lose weight, rejoice the small losses. They all add up!

Thank you, guys. Your comments really helped and, of course, you're both absolutely right. My expectations were indeed too high, Suzi161, probably a result of weighing myself at home before my official weekly weigh-in (the official weigh-in *always* has me at 3-5 lbs more). I was just soooooo hoping to make it this week to my first major goal of 252 lbs, despite that being a bit of an unrealistic goal at 7 lbs p.w. As you say, I have certainly lost inches and, even better, it's only body fat, as opposed to any muscle/water/bone mass. And, yes, FullaBella, I am indeed nuts not to appreciate losing at least something! It just felt like I deserved more than 2 measly pounds for how hard I worked at it in the week. But then when I think of two pounds of sugar, it seems quite a lot and 2 lbs a week is supposed to be the healthiest weight-loss rate. It's hard not to be impatient, even though the pounds are adding up (now 26), but as another member said somewhere, "Losing weight is hard. Being overweight is hard. Choose your hard..." Thanks again for your support.
