mars2kids's Journal, 10 June 2013

I'm surprised but I'm down a pound this week. Woo hoo! We'll see if I can keep it off. It shouldn't be a bad week, I've got my meals planned for lunch, but it's always dinner and late night snacking that kill me.

I got my workout in this morning, but it took some talking to myself. I was talking out loud to myself to wake my butt up this morning, I'm sure the dog thought I was crazy and luckily the hubby wasn't home to hear it. I am taking tomorrow as a rest day because we have softball until late tonight, so I know I won't be able to get up, and my ankle is still bothering me, so I'm going to rest it.

It's supposed to be warmer this week, so I'm hoping that will motivate me to get outdoors more. I hate being outside if I'm chilly, so I love it when it's hot. I really need to get more weeding done in the garden, so we'll see how far I get this week.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Happy Monday!

Where are you that it's still chilly? It's been rainy here in DE but humid, which is typical for the summer.

I feel your pain, Mars! Wisconsin here, been in the 50's to mid 60's here at most, still. Add constant grey skies and almost constant rain to that, as well. Waiting for warm weather!

Woo hoo on the pound and great job on the workout and planned lunches! I hate being outside if it is chilly too. I got all my flower beds weeded this weekend! Sometime in July (waiting until after my son's b.day) I want to get all the flower beds mulched.

I get chilly very easily, so if it's a breezy low 70's day, I'm chilly. I'm in NE, and it's been low 70's, but this week calls for 80's and 90's.

I find low 70's & breezy to be chilly too. A couple of weeks ago we had a whole week of upper 80's with low humidity & breezy & to me that was perfect weather. I wish every day were like that.

Congrats on the weigh in! That's another pound gone!! Just remind yourself at night that you are not hungry and that the snacking is not worth it! Try brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth with mouthwash. Perhaps that will slow you down on the snacking! Have a great week!
