I ate 1200 calories - finally!

I think that one food I shouldn't eat is cream cheese. I've stalled twice when I added this to my diet. The Atkins diet is giving me a chance to find out what foods cause me to stall, and what I can eat and still lose weight. I have found that I can eat berries and strawberries. I cannot have bread, and I must watch how much cheese I eat.

I am getting sugar in my flu medicine, but it doesn't really seem to be effecting me very much.

Yes, but how do you actually know if it's the cream cheese or the natural function of your body. A person could eat a piece of cake and see a gain the next day. They blame the cake but it may have absolutely nothing to do with the cake and be something else entirely. But it is good you are in tune with your body.

Ah - I've tried it 3 times since May. Like the Atkins book says, I add one thing at a time. If that thing causes a stall - then it is that thing. But, you are right. This whole diet thing is just best guess. The nutritionists say I should be eating 1100 calories. My dr, OBGYN, and a specialist all said that - don't know why - but I am eating enough calories...just be careful to eat 'well' ... so I guess no one really knows.

I don't think your own food calendar is accurate. If it is...you are skipping wayyyyy too many meals, and not applying the overall concepts of the Atkins program. I am totally confused by your previous journal entries about people that are losing and eating under 1,000 calories...I think you are proving my point. Lots of people do not log absolutely everything, including you. (and me.) But I consistently eat between 1350 - 1650 calories / day...and have been consistently losing.
