Day 36 - Start of week 6 (half way through the challenge)

I dont really feel like being honest with what the scale said..but i went up 0.8 of a pound. I have been working out everyday and so eventually im going to have to let go of the number and start focusing on the fact that muscle weighs more then fat and takes up alot less space then fat! which is why my clothes are fitting better, and im down 6 inches all over. So maybe now is the time to stay off the scale and only weigh myself every 30 days. i am working out and eating right, and thats all i can do. I may play with my calorie intake a bit because i am so active sometimes eating more is actually better! No point in stressing over some number. i feel better in my body already and hopefully that will continue as the days move on. Less worrying about some number and more focused on being positive about how i feel. Look forward to seeing the results when i take my 8 week pictures and be happy about the visual progress, because i know it will be there!

In other news my friend forced me to come try her step class last night. I warned her that i have been kicked out of three seperate aerobic classes due to severe motor challanges when moving my arms and legs in different directions. She seemed suspicious of me and thought i was just making up excuses. well.. we went and i ended up hitting my neighbour after i some how managed in my confusion to step my way over to her step. the first time i backhanded her, the instructor let it slide. The second time, my victim had fallen to the floor and was covering her face when the music came to a screeching halt. i would have been an idiot not to figure out that i made a major step faux pas.
Im sticking with the yoga and the running till i can get this spastic hand eye coordination under control. HAHAHA

Lol, that is so funny. Maybe try some at home to get it down first. I have gone to measuring myself instead of trusting the scale. The scale for me is so upsetting when it just moves up and down the same two pounds. Sounds like you are doing great. Keep it up and have a great day

LOL you funny girl. Don't beat yourself up...weight is just a number ;) You look and feel Ahhhmazing so stay focused on that Hawty :D I'm proud of you!

OMG that is sssooooooo funny! I love yoga and I am severely challenged with coordination also - can I give you some advice? Don't try Zumba unless you are in a large and nearly emtpy room. LOL. I ran over my neighbors multiple times in one session before deciding I just don't take direction very well. I attribute it to being a poor kid that didn't get to go to ballet/tap/jazz and all that, so I missed out during my formative years, and now it may be too late for me to pick up those skills :-0

Lol, that's hilarious about your step class! Wish I could of been there!! I'm glad though that you are feeling better about yourself, and you're right, it's just a number and you're doing all you can do, just go by how your clothes are fitting, wow, 6 inches gone?? That's awesome! hey, I wanted to ask you what type of protein you use?? I bought some whey from wal-mart and it tastes grainy!! I then put in mixed frozen berries and then all I tasted were all the seeds from the fruit!! Maybe I'm just too picky!!!
