PLease help me lose weight!
first of all great job on keeping up your workouts. i find it hard to get in working out even three times a week. so good for you..excercise makes you feel good especially when you see results.. my first question is what kind of running routine are you doing..and for how long have you been doing the same routine? experts suggest we switch up our routines so that we dont plateau.. if you are looking for something new to try that burns fat i would suggest High intensity interval training! A HIIT session consists of a warm up period of exercise, followed by six to ten repetitions of high intensity exercise, separated by medium intensity exercise, and ending with a period of cool down exercise. The high intensity exercise should be done at near maximum intensity. The medium exercise should be about 50% intensity. The number of repetitions and length of each depends on the exercise. The goal is to do at least six cycles, and to have the entire HIIT session last at least fifteen minutes and not more than twenty.then i usually just walk briskly on the treadmill or jog for another 20 minutes. its important to do a hybrid approach - intervals to release the fat from the fat cells, followed by low intensity cardio to use these fatty acids for energy. you can google some routines online

As for the diet THIS is the most important thing to focus on. you can eat well and not work out and still loose weight. it is near impossible to eat badly and work out and loose weight. my diets consists of low med and high days. i try and eat carbs, protein and vegtables five times a day...it is good to see you are already eating in small meals Smile i eat lean chicken, turkey, fish and protein shakes as my protein, i have a whole wheat carbs or fruit such as apples and berries and lots of different veggies..what alters is my amounts. i will have 2 oz of protein and 1/2 cup of carbs a meal on a low day and 4z protein and 1- 1 and 1 & 1/4 carbs on a high day and this way it tricks my body and metoblic rate and keeps my body guessing that way you dont plateau. protein bars are great when you dont have time but are for the most part full of garbage, protein shakes are a better alternative. Drink a ton of water, and if you get bored japenese green tea by the kettle full! and of course treat yourself once a week to a cheat meal! this reminds your body that you can still eat pizza and cake and the finer things in life. and you sure do appreicate them more. hope this helps Smile
