Boinnnggg Here I go again. Up down up down...I knew it, I could feel it.

Today I am visiting the superintendent of juvenile detention schools, to see if we can help the kids when they transition back to society. Great opportunity to be able to give those kids some hope where there may be none left. It makes me not even care that I didn't lose weight, my little problem seems trivial in comparison.
196.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 32.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It appears you have a very rewarding job. I did a double-take when I looked at your pictures. I was going to email you and ask if there was some mistake. You look too trim for your current weight. You can't be too flabby; you must have developed some muscle since you've been on here. I like your outlook on life; keep it up!

It will move again. How was your sodium intake versus water? It makes a huge impact on me.

Up is okay when it is followed by down. It's the up, up and away that we have to worry about! I don't know anyone who has been making a weight loss effort for a longer length of time that doesn't have their ups and downs. Good job keeping it in perspective and not letting it get you down.

I agree with jaime that it is water and you will see it gone very soon. The Arizonia kids a very lucky to have you! All states could use you and your program.

I'm boinging back up too. Crap happens. Sometimes there's a fundraiser for my friends' paralyzed dad and I have to eat 4 slices of pizza.

I had a big gain over the holidays, that is gone, but now I'm back to where I was plateaued for many many weeks. I think today's gain is water or something else inside me (I don't feel the water at all), and I'm sure it will go back down tomorrow. I had a great meeting this morning, and we are going to start with a pilot of 50 kids. They process around 10,000 per year, and more than half of those kids are not enrolled in high school. Huge need! As for other states, we are working on it. Washington and Louisiana are already going strong with NoDropouts. I'm ready to put Arizona on the map for something good!
