Been having a rough time of it. Haven't been interested in eating, much less preparing healthy food for myself, and didn't leave the house very much this last week, which sent me into a deep "bleah". I'm working on trying to enjoy my domestic tasks again, because they make up the greatest portion of my life, and if I don't enjoy them, I don't enjoy my life.

Working on it.

Be kind to yourself!!! Changing our eating and exercise habits take time....I know I have to pretend I am not me sometimes to get my cardio in...if you know what I mean. Some times I am my own worst enemy. A good friend told me to-- Act as if... So act as if I am happy; act as if I love who I am; act as if I know what I am doing when It comes to food and exercise. I tried it and IT did make my transition to a healthy lifestyle easier. Do give up...Hang in there YOU can do it!!! Progress not perfection!

Try to get a handle on what's causing you to be so blue, and don't make matters worse for yourself by gaining weight...Hope you feel better real soon!

Oh, dear. We are not in a good place, are we? I surely understand the part about -- if you don't enjoy your domestic chores, you don't enjoy your life -- because that IS your life! You know what? You are a very smart lady. I believe you have stumbled upon the key for happiness for everybody -- not just you. Soooo -- domestic chores --- cooking, cleaning, organizing. This is SPRING! Magazines have been devoted to this time of year for domestic chores since time began. Organizing and cleaning. Don't just CLEAN your bedroom and closet -- reorganize it. Hang your blouses by color. Rearrange something, and clean behind and under while you do so. Even though it is hard, hard, hard to get started -- think how rewarding it is when you FINISH that chore! Then, have a green tea break, step back and admire your work. If you are having trouble getting out of the house -- go to a garage sale or two -- find some wonderful deal that fits somewhere in your life, then come home and rearrange and clean and move around and adjust and CHANGE and be flexible and fit it in! Go to a farmers market or even the vegetable section of the supermarket, and plan the world's greatest diet lunch and dinner for the day. Look for recipes on the net and then get excited about the food for this day, and how you will look tomorrow. And, go outside and walk a little. Doesn't have to be a lot -- just some, and look around. And, I, too, hope you are feeling much, much better soon. Actually, later today.
