Help FS Buddies! Feels like my body is a science experiment! The first two weeks of June, I increased the protein and reduced the carbs: I was much less hungry and ate fewer calories - lost some weight.

The next week: completely stalled out and believed my calorie intake was just too low - lost nothing. This past week: increased my calories and maintained the higher protein/lower carb plan: lost nothing.

I am just hovering around 211 and feel so frustrated. Now: the last couple days added back a few carbs but am totally confused about what I should eat now, and how much I should eat! Argh!

I have been doing well and this is the end of my 12th week. This has always happened in the past - the stall - and I have given up. NOT THIS TIME - I need help getting beyond this stall !

Sometimes you just have to wait out these stalls. I haven't lost any weight for a month now and I changed my mind set to where this is all right. If nothing happen next month I might try something else but giving up is not an option.

I'm at a stall too. . . frustrating, but I keep going, and it really helps to hear people still say, wow, you are really getting skinny girl! so I'm saying that I'm gaining muscle as well as looking fat and that must be why the scales aren't changing any! Still working out though, and paying attention to what I eat. just stick to the plan!

Change up your excercise and do something that gets your body moving and lots of sweat. It helped me break through a stall. Remember your body gets use to the same thing all the time and adjusts to it. Make it burn!

I am heading into the second week of a stall myself. I understand what you are going through. I feel exactly the same way. Knowing that other people are going through the same problems I am helps me to get through it. I hope that this stall (for both of us) is over soon!
