I'm still focused, and getting excited about the start of another weekend - even the weather forecast is good! Of course, the weekend brings with it the danger of drinking too much wine, but at least we don't have any visitors this weekend to encourage us... :)
My husband has booked us a weekend away in the Brecon Beacons in Wales for Valentines. My mum is going to look after our little boy, so we'll have two whole nights to ourselves!! The idea is to go for long walks, burning off enough calories to enable us to enjoy a guilt-free indulgent meal out. That's the theory at least - let's just hope it doesn't pour with rain all weekend!

Great job! You have come such a long way. My husband and I will be going away to Las Vegas on March 15th (belated anniversary/Valentine's Day - anniversary is 2/16). So jealous you're getting your getaway sooner, but dang it, we mothers certainly deserve it.

My husband and I went away last Sept. for our anniversary/birthdays for the weekend. First time alone overnight since having kids (5 years ago! Sad, i know.) and we had the best time. But it was strangely VERY quiet. Enjoy it!!

Thanks everyone! I know we're going to miss him like mad, and probably be calling home every couple of hours, but I am excited about getting away - it'll be just like the old days, BF (Before Finlay) as we refer to it!!
