11% carb 16% protein 73% fat macros today. Today my youngest daughter started this way of eating. She did very well for the first day. Yesterday I had to take my husband to urgent care, the dr said he had pneumonia and then said the xray did not indicate full blown pneumonia. He was already on an antibiotic which was probably holding it a bay but not getting him well. I am so proud of making it through the stress without "cheating".

When you're up against a tough time, makes you remember just how tough we are. Well done for not cheating, sounds like that crutch isn't needed!

Are you doing primal/paleo? Bfd129, macro stands for macronutrients (protein, fat, carbs).

I did a lot of research, watched other people eat and reflected on my past successes and failures. I decided that I would use the macros as a guide and not worry about calories. The best website I have found for macros is keto-calculator.ankerl.com I then try to eat each day an match my macros as closely as possible. If I am light on fats in the evening I will have chicken broth with butter, or hot chocolate with coconut milk, butter, sf chocolate flavoring. I have bulletproof tea (hate coffee) for breakfast most mornings. I love this way of eating.
