7% carg 11% protein 82% fat - last couple of days have been eating only 3 meals per day and have been very satisfied. Evening meal has been very little protein, mostly veggies cooked in butter and oil. Very filling for very reasonable number of calories. Have not been watching the calories per se but they were under 1500 today, Wednesday and Tuesday. Friday is my weigh in day so I am in great hope of being below were I was before last weekend.

thanks so much for your thoughtful response to my journal entry. i also eat 3 meals a day. i am better with 3 bigger meals than with snacking. if i snack, i seem to do it all day long! my friend tells me that paleo recommends 3 big meals. does lchf recommend that too?

Some people eat 4-6; some 2 some live on bullet proof coffee for a couple of meals. I tried the snack thing and was annoyed by it but I think I was not eating enough at meal times. I generally am starving at 3p but lately so busy I would right through it. Have also discovered that sometimes when I think I'm hungry I just have need to drink more. I drink a lot and wish it was all water but I get bored with it. so sometimes its ice tea, lemon ade or half and half tea and lemonade, or even the mio type flavoring . IN a pinch in a restuarant I will ask for lemeon slice and mash it with a fork and add a little splenda to it. There are several LCHF groups in Facebook. I ve joined server and mostly just read the ideas, questions and answer for a while before adding. Also pinterest has great menus and recipies. YOu tube had lots of videos by the experts. I also wonder about the medical policys that reinforces the need for more drugs. I have been an auditor for 25 years, I just naturally follow the money. LOL

oh, it's too bad you're starving at 3pm. that's an inconvenient time. i drink when i'm hungry, but it doesn't usually help. i have trouble with water, i just don't like it. i drink iced coffee and iced tea, unsweetened. i used to drink a ton of diet rite, so this is better for me. it's just expensive because i get the coffee at starbucks. i get a shot of espresso in it and i can't do that at home, so theirs always tastes better than mine. pinterest is full of food! i agree that for the most part, less meds/drugs is better. it's hard to change habits though, and it's easy for people to take a pill. i think that is the issue.
