I knew the government allowed for a margin of error in presenting how many calories, fat, protein, carbs, etc... are in the foods we buy but I didn't know it could be up to %20 percent. I think that's a lot considering that a 1200 calorie diet could conceivably be 1440 calories. Here's a link:

Many products have the same nutrition label, like they just borrowed the label from another company. Some do tricky things like change the serving size from 30 g to 28 g to make you think it is lower in calories than the other one.
