Finally got my butt back to the gym. Yesterday I encouraged a coworker who has been demotivated to workout as soon as she got home, then I went straight past the gym on my way home. Felt a bit of a hypocrite. Turns out she did work out when she got home and felt better for it, so that gave me my motivation for today.
I deadlifted 150 lbs. for 4 sets of 5 which is at least over my body weight. Felt really good throughout, no lightheadedness or back strain. A good day overall...had a busy day at work, but in a good way and had plenty of energy left and no excuse not to workout. Next workout is planned for Friday...I am committing to it right here and now.
