Day 37 - concluded with 2 hours of pet volunteering. My buddy, Virgo, was back and I got to spend some cuddle time with her (really, it wasn't nearly as serene as that sounds - more like Virgo time - playing). Walked 3 dogs - Lennox - sweet 7 yr old boxer (and spent quality time with her - she washed my face and ears for me), Pretty Girl - sweet black/tan shepherd mix that got adopted last night! and Sesame - a German Shepherd/Basset mix.

Still fighting summer cold. Took one Mucinex Max night time - and called it a night around 10pm after watching nearly 2 episodes of The Glades. Forgot how much I enjoyed that show. Got a notification from Netflix that new episodes were out there.

Supper - smoothie and 1/4 watermelon. Snacked a little, but fortunately the watermelon tends to fill you up!

Day 38 - weigh in - 231.2
Banana sandwich this morning for breakfast and some Activia. Also had a Slim (Advocare) before breakfast. Found as of yesterday it helps tide me over till a later lunch.

Today will tackle Day 2 of the squat challenge and we'll see about exercise. Today is my Friday and I'm stoked!!!

Shake will be for lunch.
Smoothie or salad will be for supper.

Overall? Pretty happy.

I'm jealous of your pet volunteering time, it sounds wonderful! I hope you get over your cold soon. Those summer colds and allergies are the worst. Stay happy and have a great LONG weekend!!

Is there not a local pet shelter nearby you could volunteer with? Two hours a day - for 15 hours/3 months. Worst part of cold - I'm taking Mom to Mts for 2 days - my parents anniversary is tomorrow and it's her 2nd anniversary without my Dad. I'm pushing through this cold for the better good!

We have a shelter here, but it's a kill shelter, so I'm not sure I could let any of the animals go when it's there time, and it's the only one here. I think it's great that you're taking your Mom for a vacation! Enjoy it!
