This is so discouraging. I have gained back over half of what I had lost last year. I was so sure this wouldn't happen again. I felt so strong and motivated when I was on LCHFNG. It was becoming a way of life. I keep trying to get back on track and can hardly make it through a whole day. The depression is back, headaches are back, stomach aches are back... somebody needs to lock me in a closet for about a week to get through detox. I hate this.

I am right there with you. So tried of the yoyo effect. I lose it for awhile then it is back and more. Just want to find something that works for good.

The only thing that works for good is to change your eating habits for good, lol! Whatever you do to lose the weight, you need to keep doing in order to keep it off. So you need to make sure your plan is one you can fit in to your lifestyle. When we go back to our old ways, the weight creeps back on. I like WW because I can eat what I want in moderation and allow myself planned treats sometimes. I know I will forever have to watch what I eat. But we all have to find our individual way and its not easy.

I hit the plateau myself last week, and I also gained back 5 pounds. I realized that my body had "adjusted" itself to my calorie intake and my physical activity. So, I switched up my activity by starting a yoga routine (I am a 273 lbs male). I also adjusted my food intake and dropped my caloric intake by about 200. I found Yoga for dummies on youtube, here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUvfZvmRNBo, I truly hope you find this helpful because it can get VERY frustrating. Good luck and just keep plugging away at it.

I've been on lots of diets, lost weight on some of them, but I'd eventually go back to my old ways and the weight would just go back on. I have to agree with Suzi161, the solution to that is a lifestyle change that you can maintain long term. I understand that it's discouraging to have gained back weight already lost and have been in the same place many times before. I would just encourage you make up your mind, purpose yourself to not stay there. Getting started can be hard but with the right mindset and motivation you can do it, you've done it before. Yesterday is gone and you can't change it, stressing over it won't help a thing. But today is here and it's a great day for a new start. Every new day is a great day for a new start.

Mmm. My kind of breakfast. Looks kinda high for a girl. (Dang. Did I just say that out loud?) Hang in there Weaver. Log your food more consistently. That will help you. There's something about recording it all.

Thanks everyone. I had a great day today dealing with food. I stayed on track even getting all my fat in. I read a motivational booklet that really helped. I think I'll read it again tomorrow.
