Chickturu's Journal, 22 April 2014

Holidays are over and everything goes back to normal -meaning that I'm back in the office and back to my routine.

I'm somehow happy about that. I'm eating good and tasty food again, and I'm in control of my daily exercise and so on.

On saturday I went biking with some friends. It had been at least 2 years since I didn't go on a bike, so it was as fun as challenging, and more than that, it was painful.

On sunday all my body was hurting, but still I managed to exercise again and I felt so good! - that could not last long, of course, and yesterday my body made me pay for all that effort - I was totally unable/unwilling to move an eyelash because every single part of my body was hurting so much. :) As people say, 'better sore than sorry' so I won't complain, and I will be back to exercise today.

Also, I discovered that my scale can do more things than just reminding me how heavy I am! it gave me some figures that I thought I'd write here for my record:

21 April:
Fat: 32.9
body water: 49.9
muscle: 33.8
BMI: 28.8

I still need to figure out what that means, and once I've done it then I guess I'll try to improve them. Not now, though. Once step at the time! for the moment I must focus on my 4 kg. loss by may 16.

Sounds like you're doing great! Make sure you're stretching and that should help a bit with the sore muscles, that and making sure you're hydrated. You've got a good handle on things. You'll be down that 4kg in no time!

Thanks guys. You are right Mars, last days I ignored stretching and then I suffered the consequences. Won't ignore that again, for sure!

Exercise is great but don't push too much or you might get an aversion to it. That's what happens with me at least when I exaggerate heheh. When you're very tired, very light exercise is great to get the blood circulating through you and speed up recovery :)
