I feel like this is all for nothing. Why bother not eating like this if all I'm gonna do is sit here at 146? Not gonna give up I know its a matter of time but dang this is annoying.

Your half way there, why on earth would you give up. It gets harder the less you have to lose. This is when you dig your heals in and really do it. You might need to be stringent with your tracking. Get plenty of activity. Exercise is your best friend. Drink your water. Up your protein and high fiber foods. Watch your sodium intake. Now get to it! You can do it.

i know what you talk about (look at my weight history and you know) i just cling to the idea that if i don't i gain weight, and gaining is NOT and option. So might as well be stuck at this weight, cus i'm not going anywhere (*grin*)

I feel privileged to be reading this so early in my journey, because I am just taking in all the responses and reminding myself that when I get stuck at some future plateau weight, there will be lots of supportive people to help me get through the hump. Keep on keeping on! You've got this!

It does get harder the closer to goal, and you will plateau from time to time at all parts of the effort. I tend to lose a few pounds, then hit a wall for a week or two, then lose again. I am always looking for changes I can make to get the scale moving in the right direction. Are you recording all your food or just some of it on the tracker here? You might not be eating enough and your body thinks it's starving - you won't lose weight then. Try recording EVERYTHING you eat and I bet someone here is knowledgable enough to help you figure out what else you can do from here. I know I eat too many carbs, but I need SOME carbs and the RIGHT kind to help fuel my body. I'm also committing to some kind of activity every day to help, because it's getting really hard for me now, and I'm not giving up either :)

Don't give up we all hit these plateaus. You will see results hang in there..
