Boy, these journals are sure useful. I've been feeling so hungry the past couple of days. I looked back at my journal this time last month and, sure enough, same symptoms. So I'm filling up with lots of protein and hunkering down for the next week. This time last month I only lost about .75 lbs in 11 days, so I started counting since last Friday. :)

Diet Calendar Entry for 12 December 2010:

LOL well at least you continue to lose I gain 4 lbs every time right before and it happens 2-3 times a month... really makes it tough to lose! Hang in there!

Thanks, Myree. I think these perimenopausal symptoms are pretty new for me; hopefully I won't have to endure them more than 1x a month bc it's hard being hungry!

Being hungry around that time is a perimenopausal symptom? I often wonder if I am in it, but I have always had whacky TOM's so I have no idea LOL

I get craving before too and could eat a whole cow! I usually see a drop in weight for about 3-4 days, then boom, it all comes back in water and then takes 10 days before I get back to the lowest "before" weight. At least we understand, anticipate and know what is coming rather than being devestated by the evil scale :)

So, true, FF. And it's no fun exercising with tender boobs, either. But at least it's temporary and I won't bother weighing in for a while. :)

I hope it gets better for you soon...maybe investing in a really good sports bra might help in the interim?
