Day 6, Week 1 Holiday Cruise to Lose!


HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!!!!!!
(leaving this portion the same as we all need the reminders as T-Day gets closer, LOL) Welp, Turkey Day is upon us! Go ahead and indulge a little. Make sure you drink A LOT of water and try to make the bigger portions on your plates the healthy stuff like turkey without the skin and salad. Then take a little of each of the temptations that you just cannot live without! Make sure one meal is a splurge but not the rest! (well for those of you you have to attend more than one, you will just have to make up for it in other ways! ;))


Well the drive was not bad. I splurged a little too much at our meal at Cracker Barrel so I had Dave set up the Wii Fit when we got here and worked out for a full hour to make sure at least to meet my caloric defecit goal. I had plenty of water yesterday to help flush awayy the massive amounts of sodium. I am continuing to drink water. I am going to munch a lot of little healthy things throughout the day to make sure I am not famished when it comes time for dinner tonight.

Old Man Scale: He gets a break from me for the long week-end. I am going to go up and visit Mrs. Scale so I can gauge how I am doing while I am here but I am not going to record my weigh-ins because scales are rarely calibrated precisely to each other.

High goal: 235 by the 1st of December. 5.5 from now. Definitely a s..t...r...e...t...c...h, esp with Turkey day in the mix, but we shall see ;) This looks doubtful now, BUT I WILL hit 240 by Monday despite turkey Day! ;)

Christmas Challenge Goal:Time to break this one down.
Floor goal: Maintain at 240 (It IS the holidays)
Midrange goal: lose 5 to 235
Ceiling goal: 230 by December 25th!! 36.5 from when I first started watching and 10.5 from now!

Next Mini: 240 (.5 lbs from now, WEEEEE) then on down, down down! (My bar should go orange sometime VERY soon, now!)

Glad the drive was okay and you got there safe and sound. Great job counteracting the Cracker Barrel meal with the Wii! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Did you hear the news? amryk lost a whole freakin' pound -- the day after Thanksgiving! How cool is that! We RED RUMMER'S are giving you BBB's an early Christmas gift -- matching blue tank suits -- guess you could say we are GIVING TANKS! Yuk-yuk-yuk-yuk! Hey that "punny" worked on amryk's journal.
