Good morning, fatsecreters!

Just a short journal today.
Yesterday I observed myself while eating. So, here's a list of things I want to change.
-I realized lunch portion was too large for me, but ate it anyway. next time, I can split it and share it (give it away) to people I am eating with.
-Cake portion was too big, I could have decided for half of it (cake was super heavy and packed with sugar and honey).
-When I am super tiredfrom work, even if I am not hungry, I eat to relieve stress and tension. This has to be changed.
From today on, I will have at least a half an hour break from the end of the work day and the beginning of the evening. I will go for a longer walk or have a look at the shops in town before getting home. At the moment, I live at 5 min walking distance from the office, so I don't really have some time to disconnect my mind from work related thoughts.
Walking is more healthy than overating!!
-I put too many things to do in my agenda. I must set priorities, and leave a couple of hours of low intensity activity before I go to sleep. After the first two days of work, I see a pattern. Being super tired makes me want to eat more, and tends to make my mood very bad. So, more relax from now on.

I know from where the "hyperactive person" attitude comes from. The reaction to the death of my uncle, threemonths ago, and the fact that I had no energy for a long time. Ok, that's fine. I want to change things now and focus more on high priority activities.
I am very happy about my life :)

Just like you, I live five minutes walk away from my work. Ever since I started walking an hour every morning, I have felt SO much better, both physically and mentally. It makes a huge change. Well done on stepping back and analyzing your day. I need to do the same. I can easily find places where I can do better. The hard part is sometimes to realize and adjust, isn't it? :)

Keld, you are right! The hard part is realizing what we might improve. Walking in the morning sounds like a good idea! I need to shift the start of my day to an earlier time than now, in order to feel more relaxed and being able to do more things before I go to work. You see, there's plenty of room for improvement! :)
