Dr Ruth is at it again & on to Day 2 adding back lactose free dairy. Yesterday went well as I added back 2 servings of lactose free milk with no negative impacts. Today I'll try lactose free cottage cheese which is the 1 form of dairy I've really been missing. So, I'm particularly eager to see if I tolerate it -- both the taste & the after effects. Stay tuned for the lab report tomo.

And, I prepare for our next trip... hence I've been up again since 4 am! Unfortunately I wake up at some point each night to use the bathroom, and when I'm stressed or excited or just have something on my mind, the wheels start turning along with the tossing & turning, and no more sleeping after that. This morning I was planning what to pack! We head to UT on Thurs with my younger son, are met there on Sat by my older son, then the younger flies back to college on Sun, the elder & I fly back to CT on Weds, hubby stays on for a guys ski trip & gets back next Sun when older son flies back to college. Mind boggling trip to plan but we will all be together for parts of Sat & Sun, and I'll get time with each of my boys:). Who can sleep with such excitement!

But, through it all, I'll start each day in prayer --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

And, like today, I'll pray, breathe, log, post & express for this one day, meal, moment, bite & emotion at a time. xoxox

Have a wonderful time on your trip! Utah (and Colorado) recently had some good snow storms, so the skiing should be great!

Yay Dr Ruth - hope cottage cheese experiment yields positive results as well. It's definitely one of my daily tabs - nearly as much as reading your journals. Have a great trip!
