I have the most amazing hubby. Last night he had bowling but he took the 8 yr old with him. Even though I love her and she does help me alot with little man it was so nice having a night without someone asking me to do something. Granted little man is demanding when he wants something but it's not the same as an 8 yr old whining she's bored, asking if she can build a treehouse, taking over the tv, getting everything out then having to tell her to put them back and asking what's to eat then complaining she doesn't like what's to eat. It was peaceful. We cleaned house, did laundry, fixed some things on the computer, I did crunches while little man tried to climb on top of me and give hugs and after little man went to bed I tackled hubbies taxes and got a giant chunk of the work done. I even made it to bed by 10:30.

If giving me a night of peace wasn't enough he even got up with little man at midnight and got him to snooze until 2 so I could get more than 2 hours of sleep. I may not have gotten any more sleep than usual but I feel more refreshed. Maybe getting a few more projects done today will let me breath a little easier and not feel so overwhelmed.

Kudos to the hubby :-)... even if it did take him awhile to get there at least! Even if it wasn't more sleep peice of mind can have a huge effect.
