In January I managed to lose 6.2 lbs. Not too bad! I think it would have been more but with all the water weight I have right now I went up a pound. I guess this means I have a little loss coming in the beginning of February! Even so I'm happy with a 6.2 loss in one month. Just imagine how much progress I can make next month if I stop cheating!
My goals in February are to lose 7 lbs, finish all my exercise goals, and hopefully lose at least an inch around my middle. Perferably the pudgy bit that is above my belly button. It's that part that the hubbies hands automatically go to whenever he comes up behind me to give me a hug. As much as I shimmy, arch, or contort the hands always miss the boobs and go to the pudge. I'm sure in his mind he's being respectful and caring. In my mind I'm yelling GO FOR THE BOOBS NOT THE PUDGE! Maybe he does it because he's trying to gauge if I've lost any weight there yet. Who knows. It sure as heck can't be sexy. At the end of February I'm taking mid-weight pictures to compare to the ones when I started at 181. Maybe then I can gauge if the pudge is moving, shrinking, drooping, or just plain being stubborn.
crunches: 1025/5000 60 second planks: 19/500 push-ups: 100/5000 reverse crunches: 540/5000 squats: 850/5000 60 second side planks: 0/500

6.2 lbs a month, that would be 72 a year and you definitely don't have that much lol. That's great progress, and realistic. Keep that motivation you've got going, you're doing awesome!

Great job on the loss and the goals for February! You will do it! I should make a goal of what I want to lose this month. . .have to think on that. I like your exercise goals too.

That's great!! 6.2 lbs is an awesome number for one month! My hubby always complains because I think I'm flabby and he says he thinks I'm sexy and doesn't care about any flab, so you're hubby is probably the same. You know men, one thing on the mind and they're just happy when we give them that one thing. I'll bet when you take those pics you'll be amazed at the difference.

Pictures and measurements really help me realize all my progress too. 6.2 pounds in a month is really good. I don't bet but you could go check out dietbet .com and join one. You make a bet and whoever can lose 4% of their body weight by the end of the month splits the pot. Good incentive to keep pushing.
