Christmas...in 16 days! Now instead of counting the days I'm away, I feel the need to count down until the holiday. Still don't have one decoration or the tree up or one card sent or even ordered, but did get caught up at work... for now. I do the bookkeeping for 2 businesses -- 1 that my brother-in-law owns & 1 that my husband & I are partners in. In total, I spend about 15 - 20 hours/week on them, but of course, year-end is a busier time. Anyway, with that caught up for now, I can turn my focus again to the holiday. Today, though we're playing tennis this morning & have a Holiday Cocktail Party later this afternoon. So, my new plan is to add one box & one card & one ornament at a time to my list -- one box of decorations tackled, one ornament hung & one Christmas card written (of course, that's after the cards are ordered & the tree is up)! So, the new list is one day, meal, moment, box, ornament or card at a time -- and yes, I'll be checking it twice :)! And all the while praying, breathing & taking care of myself during the countdown to the holiday! xoxox
