Good Day all:

Hope everyone is doing well with exercise and eating healthy. Today I have challenged myself and my husband to go back to the Medifast basics. That means to eat the 5 medifast meals with one lean and green meal for dinner and that is it! no adding things that should not be in there (candy, cheese, more cheese, or extra meat portions) unless allowable by the medifast rules. This means we will literally be eating less than 1000 calories today and tomorrow as well as eating 25 grams of fat a day or less. Now that is a change. In doing this we should see a nice drop on the scale on our weigh in day on Friday as well as get back to BUSINESS with our diet. We have gotten too comfortable adding the wrong foods to our diet that are not on the medifast list. Although this may be fine from time to time, we need to adjust ourselves. Pray that I win this challenge, as winning means that I survived the two days.

That's a great challenge lovergirl! I like that you're trying it out for two days...I guess you'll see how it goes from there? I think less than 1000 calories is doable...I've been doing it the past few days and trust me when I say it was not on purpose! I'm definitely praying for you on this. I know how it is when you feel you've gotten complacent in your diet and need to get back to basics. Have a great challenge!
