I did a little reading up on the CSU enrollment freeze and they're trying to eliminate 40,000 students system wide. Wow but I'm wondering if there's a state that might say hey all accepted CSU students that are being blocked from enrolling come to our state school and we'll accept you with in-state tution. I know now everyone could just pick up and leave California but it would be something to think about. Good luck finding a solution that works for you. 

Sorry that you can't go to school. Move to Kentucky and they will pay you to go to school. Less than 2% of the population has a Bachelor's, imagine how many of us in KY have a Masters! While you're at boot camp, get mad and kick booty! 

Man I am so on it Shia~ I am going to take all my frustration out at boot camp. You know Splendid and Shia, I am can not leave my family they mean so much too me! I am looking for online classes that may offer the same or a variation of the CSU grad. program. Nonetheless, Splendid you are so funny! Are you a student or a reporter? you always research information. That is so impressive! Shia, I can not believe that Kentucky has so much opportunity for higher education! I am going to see if they offer an online program. Thank you both!!!  

splendid has a good idea, and I like your idea of finding something online. There are several online bargains. What Master's degree are you pursuing? I'm trying to decide if I should finish mine in Adult Education, or choose Library Science or Creative Writing. Shia34 is so funny: Boot camp IS a good place to let out your frustration. How strange that enrollment is frozen. Truly, this is a sign of difficult times. You're right, God's got a plan for you and He will steer you right. 

Brittiful- It is a Master's of Arts in Higher Ed. Admin. Trusting God right now is all we can do as believers! Cal. is going nuts! LOL 

PS Britt- That is funny my degree is somewhat the same! 

Butterfly I just wanted to take a look at what was going on before I spoke on it. Me I was laid off from the trucking company I worked for and I really don't want to go back to driving over the road (unless imy checking account tells me to lol). Shia that does sound intreging (sp) that KY would offer to pay for school but I'd wish I could take my daughter with me or make sure I see her at least one weekend a month. After finishing school i'd be allowed to leave or is there a residency requirement?  

I am coming in on the back end of this conversation and I understand what u r going thru Butterfly. Its not that great here in New Jersey. I had lost my job so right now I am trying to go back to school to get my bachelors. Right now I guess I am playing the hide n go seek. The state has sent me everywhere..... u go here no its not here u have to go there...who sent u here they r wrong u have to go back to the first place....uuugggghhhhh. Its really frustrating when u r trying to better urself and u always get the short end of the deal. Possible could u transfer to another university? Just asking. U really have to put ur faith in God. Just let go and let GOD. I know u did damage on that boot camp....lol. Bood Luck and Best Wishes in Everything!

Oh wow...I hope things turn around for you! You'll get that Masters degree sooner or later...I'm sure of it! :)

Hey Butterfly! Sorry to hear you are having frustrations with furthering your education. I'm a believer that everything happens for a reason. In time you will get to your goal. Seems like a temporary road block. Road blocks always make me want to scream, but like my Granny used to say, "it will all come out in the wash." 

LOL I like that Court! It will all come out in the wash and it is a temporary road block. I too want to scream but I try not to say curse words. LOL Thanks for that comment; it made me smile like this :D! LOL
