Starladesiree's Journal, 27 May 2009

Two consecutive totally awesome diet days! Woot. At least a 500 calorie deficit each day (even though yesterday I had to work my ass off for it - an hour and 10 mins total of cardio!). Today I did better eating wise. No cookies. Lol. I went to the gym on lunch today and biked for 20 mins. I think I'm gonna go after work too, even though I'm STARVING and really want some dinner. However, they're feeding us pizza tomorrow at work... and considering how broke I am... I think I'm going to go ahead and eat it, and save what I would have brought for lunch for dinner tomorrow. Try to make the last grocery trip last... I'm so sick of being broke! I might have to be even broker.. My stupid car is driving really rough. It's jolting when it shifts and taking a while to turn over when I start it... Sigh. Not to mention the countless other problems like the bad brakes, the power steering fluid leak, and the fact that it's just plain ghetto. Primered hood and fender, ftw. It's even missing a couple hubcaps. It's a crappy Dodge Neon with almost 130,000 miles on it. Of course, I doubt I could get approved for a loan to get a new one, so I might be walking to work once it gives out! Lol. It's just ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER, isn't it?

Holy schneikes! I'm training for a half marathon and you're doing more cardio than me. I gotta get back on the roads.

Lol you guys sound like gamers. Okay... Which one is it? Warcraft? World of Warcraft? Starcraft? Diablo? :P I know how it feels to be on a diet and broke. It sucks!! Definitely eat the pizza and save up on the free calories. That's what I do. In college, they offer free food a lot, and I go to meetings just to eat the food.... Like a hobo :( As far as your car is concerned, Obama-rama is giving tax incentives for people buying new cars. So, at least you wouldn't have to pay for the whole thing! It's in his stimulus package if you want to check it out. If not, you could definitely spring for a bike and Lance Armstrong it.

We've been found out! And my poison of choice lately is Half-Life.

Great job on the diet. I hope your car survives until your financial situation improves.

Good point. My only concern about biking is the safety... Narrow roads, crazy drivers... scary. I've been playing a lot of Eternal Sonata, FFXI, and Plants vs. Zombies. Lol.

Hahahaha that's awesome. I know what you mean about crazy effing drivers. I love going on 20 milers in my home town, but the drivers in the college town I live in like to play "hit/buzz the cyclists" and it's terrifying. I love the FF series. I have played 8-11 I think. (Nerd moment) I got to the final boss on 11 and for some reason, quit playing. I think I was tired, lol. Is Half-Life CPU or a platform? Online I play Warcraft III. I'm really bad at it, but really determined.

I would contemplate getting a scooter if summers in Oklahoma were more.... pleasant. They're only like $3k! Yeah, I'm a little tired of FFXI... I did have a level 60 warrior but I'm pretty sure my ex either deleted it or changed the password to keep for himself. Jerk. Now I have to start all over and I just don't have the energy to play for hours on end leveling.

I think you just out-nerded me. I'm lost. I'm thinking CPU as in "computer brains"... Half-Life is a single player FPS (shooter). Half-Life 2 is the most awesome thing since Awesomesauce was invented in Awesometown.

Starladesiree: I live in Norman! You live in Oklahoma! Oh my God! /0: Hahaha, okay, yeah my friend and I were going to get that. I may just have to. I haven't played an FPS since Halo...

Yup. I'm in Tulsa. Lol.
28 May 09 by member: Starladesiree
Norman? Only one way to find out for sure... ahem... BOOMER!!
28 May 09 by member: Divided By Zero
SOOooOOooOONER... Actually, that's the only time I've ever done that. :P Tulsa is so nice. I have family there
