Weekend was great! Hubby and I ended up preparing Evelyn64's recipe for Turkey Burgers, and they were absolutely fantastic! They grilled up perfect, were moist and full of flavor. Even my dad loved them…and he's not a turkey burger fan! =)

We watched my niece and nephew, who are the cutest kids ever, and gave them "magic pillow rides", which was a great work out for my arms and shoulders.

Sunday hubby and I decided to put on the backpack, two bottles of water, and made healthy salads from Whole Foods, and walked to Boston Common from our place, was about a 7 mile walk. We sat in the park, people watched, and ate in the park, before going to see the new Indiana Jones movie (was actually disappointed in the movie, good effects, but I'm a purist when it comes to those types of movies, and once they start to play with the original theme of it, it turns me off.)

Yesterday we went to hubby's mom's house, and had a really nice lunch outside in her garden area. She made Salmon, asparagus, green salad and a fruit salad. Was healthy and good! With everyone being mindful to our diets, our planning ahead and our walk, hubby lost 3.9 this week…and I lost 1.9! =) I'm now 10 pounds away from my wedding weight! Of course I want to get down to 150….but right now I'll be happy with the 175 when I get there :)

I can't believe that its only been 2 months since hubby and I started losing weight, and I'm already at 22.2 pounds down!

Happy Tuesday! =)

Wow! Fantastic progress you've been making! I'm glad the turkey burgers were a success. That Oprah doesn't mess around! LOL. Thanks for the heads up about the new Indiana Jones movie. I don't like when the sequels stray from the original, either. And really, isn't Harrison Ford getting a little old?

Thanks for all the kind posts everyone :) LOL Evelyn! You're right, Harrison Ford is definitely getting old...but you know what...he still has it! =) In the beginning of the movie, he looked more like my dad moving around, but towards the end, I envisioned him right back to his Han Solo days. hahah ;)
