day 355..GOOOOOOD MORNING..FS!!!!! ... nice out this morning..55..but no walk , no workout..gonna take the day off an get the rest..not in the mood to go today...not sure wht im gonna do today to keep busy...took flowers out to cemetary yesterday ...then took mom out so she could look at all the nice arrangements..rain is movin in again later today for next several day..im starting to feel unmotivated ...its gettin harder for me to get in the mood to go walking an to the gym...not been in the gym in 3 days..but still been stickin to a routine in my eating...i think the reality of it being a year of workin on my weight and still having at least another one or longer is settin in...not really sure whats going on...except i want to move on past it...so i can keep my routine headed in the right direction..

addon: for anyone thinkin of doing the updide down tomotoes it will take a 5 gallon bucket so you have enough room for the roots..my plants are growing but nothin like the one i planted right side up..so im gonna do some transplanting today and make all of them right side up, as i dont kno think i can hang a 5 gallon bucket and it not pull the hanger down..lol..

Good Morning Mike! I try not to think about how long the road is but rather how far I have traveled! I am of the mindset that this is not a diet - but a complete lifestyle change! I have decided that I want to live the rest of my life with a healthy lifestyle - that means eating healthy, getting adequate exercise and trying to live a more balanced life. It's never perfect - but I strive to balance this everyday. You have done so well my friend - and I love to check in on you to see how you are doing and see how many steps you are taking - you put me entirely to shame! Put one foot in front of the other and get moving!

hey mike!! I think it's good to let the body rest! That way, it doesn't get stuck into a routine and "sleep" while your workin' out, lol. Nice info on the tomatoes... I'd like to have a garden but I'm working on keeping my potted plant alive, he he he... So far, it's still kickin' so we'll see!!

3 days is enough! Go back NOW. It isn't only about the food, it is keeping one's self physically fit, as both effect our mind's moods. Put on a smiley face, and go to your gym, and in a short while you will feel back on the right road again. Choose a solitary walk for another day when your mood improves- Good luck!

Maybe it's time to change the exercise routine. Find a new place to walk or spend time with a personal trainer. But don't stop -- crank it up!

Wow, 1 whole year, a remarkable achievement for determination and commitment! And look at your amazing results! I figure I have more than year to go to meet my goals, I have been on this path for 5 months, not near as long as yourself, but I do know how some times I wish the struggle was over and all I had to do was maintain. Keep your food choices in line, don't cheat,(you aren't cheating, are you? I didn't think so :)) it is so hard to quit cheating so don't start, you can do it. Introduce some new food choices, have some fun with your meals! Also, if the daily exercise is no longer fun, change it up, and maybe don't push it so hard until you start feeling excited about it again. Do try to get back in the routine. It always sounds like you enjoy the walks, I sure like reading your "daily" reports, it helps keep me FOCUSED knowing you, and others with goals similiar to mine, are not giving up or giving in. Maybe planning a special evening for yourself is in order, maybe a celebration dinner with good food and friends, maybe some good music or favorite movie---do something special for MIKE, a special guy every day!
