Felt very stressed this morning, not sure why, was running late (nothing new), but doritos kept chanting over and over in my head and with them comes a soda! I warred with myself my whole 30 minute commute, every gas station I passed "should I stop? how can I justify the calories (640!), do I have anything at work to eat? what am I having for lunch?" I made it past all the gas stations and had a banana when I got to work and I'm downing 32 ounces of water :) Saved myself 535 calories and can still have my ham and cheese sub for lunch without thinking I blew my calories on breakfast. (Thanks Mom for telling me to go eat my banana :))

I also noticed my ticker yesterday says I've lost 22 pounds, wow, I don't think of that number just keep thinking of what I have left to lose, but I'm very happy to say I've lost 22 pounds!

Great job losing 22 lbs! Can you think of something else that you like to eat that has less calories and more nutrition than doritos but still satisfies that craving as a replacement breakfast. I know it's harder to avoid bad choices when there are no good ones to fill the void. What I like is to eat a hard boiled egg in the morning. The grocery store where I shop sells them ready-to-eat so I don't have the problem of procrastinating on making them because of the hassle of peeling them. Also, raw almonds are crunchy like doritos but as long as you pre-portion control them, have less calories and more nutrients. You are doing so well, though. Time for a happy dance!

Thank you all for the nice comments! I had not thought of almonds! That would satisfy my salty/crunchy in the morning. When I have time I do like to make eggs in the morning. I need to try out making breakfast the night before. Now to go do that happy dance!

It's terrible when that little dorrito demon chants. Good job passing all the stations. If that were me...blowing it in the morning would have somehow given me license to blow the rest of the day. Congrats on the loss...keep it coming!

I know how hard it is to fight those little demons, good job! I felt the same way yesterday , after dinner I was really full but wanted to eat more , I kept going to the kitchen over n over but every time I would get there a little voice would tell me "then you gonna have to report it" after 2h of struggling I had some herbal tea n went to bed
