I have always struggled with my weight since childhood. Being 5' 11" people have always told me "it's OK, you carry the weight well". I have tried all the diets out there. Most the time I lost some weight, but always gained it back plus. November 2013 I had lap-band surgery, it is not a quick fix, but a tool to assist with my weight control. I am a FOOD ADDICT! I have lost over 90lbs, and am making better food and portion size choices.
I accepted the Couch25K challenge which empowers me to go to the gym. Also have now started to include some weight training. I will NEVER wear single digit size clothes,I just want to be healthy as I grow old gracefully:)
