I am 56 years old and have always had a weight problem. I was not too bad until after my second child. Then I was having marital problems and was suffering from depression. I ate. I use to be able to lose the weight easily. All I had to do was walk 30 minutes a day and it just melted off. I broke my foot in the spring of 1994 and haven't been able to walk much since. Because of wrong diagnosis and arthritis I am now pretty much not active. I have tried the videos but I get bored or am so tired when I get off work I just can't seem to do them. I don't eat right. It is so easy just to eat a bowl of cereal for supper and junk or a sandwich for lunch. I have been trying to do better, my daughter is helping me but I don't always follow her lead. I need help. Doctors just say don't eat biscuits-I don't!! They act like I eat all the time and I don't. Some days I don't eat any protein and very little of anything else for that matter. One doctor told me I didn't eat enough. I joined weight watchers and curves and gained 20 lbs. I quit both. I am discouraged and tired of being fat and having people look at me funny. I want to be able to play with my granddaughters and not get so out of breathe and tired. Most of all, I want to see them grow up! I have had a stroke and my arthritis is bad.
