I am your average woman trying to lead a healthy lifestyle. I am 37 years old living in NYC married to a chef. Thankfully he works nights and is not cooking for me all the time if he was I think I would have a lot more to lose :) Due to the city lifestyle I find myself eating out more nights then most I am trying to eat at home more and prepare healthy meals. I use to count weight watcher points and still do but am not as rigid with all their guidelines. I joined this site hoping to meet like minded individuals who can support my journey and encourage me to get more exercise into my life.

low excercise level
My nutritionist told me to eat a 1200 calorie diet to help lose weight. I am not starving. Not sure why other posters think you should be eating 300-600 additional calories.

Can't seem to stick to a clean diet
What do you mean clean diet? No processed foods? Why not just go back on WW and try to make an effort to eat clean without the stress. I follow WW and would love to not eat any processed foods but is not always the most realistic thing for me. I do avoid the frozen meals but eat laughing cow cheese (1 point) and arnold sandwich thins also only one point.

How often do you weigh yourself?
I weighed myself on Monday and have been in a really bad way so needed to get myself back in check. I do not want to be discouraged so I was thinking I would wait another 2 weeks of eating right and then weigh in again. Just wondering how often everyone else weighs themselves.

Thanks
Laura
