I've always had issues with food. Even when I was thin I thought I was fat, and was always comparing myself to others. Now that I actually am over weight I see how messed up my thinking was. In a way (that might only make sense to me!) my weight gain has been a sort of blessing...
I know now what I need to do to be healthy, and I am super excited for this journey to be fit. Walking is my main exercise. I take my dog for at least a 3 mile walk almost every day.
I'm looking forward to being part of this website and meeting new buddies.
I have a few goals.
scale goals: my first goal is to get under 200 lbs.
overall I'd like to get to 140 lbs.
non-scale goals: walk 4 miles in under an hour- 8/28/12
complete a 5k
