My name is Kathleen and I am a 44 year old single mother. This is the largest that I have been. After the birth of my son 12 years ago I managed to get down to a size 7/8. I maintained that size for about 3.5 years and then when I started having problems with my ex my weight started to balloon. I'm tired of being fat and tired all the time. I'm tired of taking medication for my high blood pressure. I want to shop for cute clothes like everyone else. I want to feel pretty because right now I don't. I don't want to avoid mirrors anymore but instead I want to stop and look at myself in them and smile. I get discouraged very easily so hopefully logging into this site on a daily basis and being accountable for my commitments such as group challenges will help me reach my goals. I want my life back.
