SO, Nick224 and I just returned home after a nice little Saturday jaunt to a small town about 40 minutes from our house. The purpose of our jaunt: fill the freezer with MEAT. And fill it we did! We have come home with 70 pounds of meat!!! The meat market we went to was one that was recommended to us by some co-workers who know about our lifestyle change and thought this place would be PERFECT for our meat needs. The market specializes in locally sourced, grass-fed, free-range meats. So, we came home with a selection of leaner meats which IN THEORY will allow us to add fat to our liking, rather than have a lot of inherent animal fat. Chicken, turkey, 90% ground beef, ground bison, ground goat. I have never tried goat before and am looking forward to it. All in all, it was a great journey and it's been a beautiful start to the weekend :) Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

So this week has been a bit frustrating to me...and I KNOW for a fact I am obsessing too much about the scale. I am well aware that because it was a TOM week for me I gained hormonal weight. Although, I am proud of myself to sticking to my macros, even with the crazy hormones. I have started a lifting regimen with Nick224. I really enjoy learning proper technique and being able to feel the results...and boy have I felt those results LOL! One thing that I have really slacked on this week is my supplements. I haven't been taking them as regularly as I SHOULD be and I definitely have noticed a difference. I will be back to taking them as I head into this week. On a happy note: it is DEFINITELY spring here in Kansas City!! WOOT! I mowed the lawn today, did a little gardening and have LOVED watching all the Japanese Magnolias and Redbud trees in full bloom, they're so BEAUTIFUL!
